So many stores, so many styles where does a time starved, empire building woman even begin? That’s why you have me in the back pocket of your well fitting jeans! I curate your perfect closet, mixing the stellar pieces you own and adding in the outfit makers that are right for your unique lifestyle, body and personality.
In my career of nearly twenty years as a designer, merchandiser and accessories stylist, I have developed an intuitive sense for what fits, flatter and looks FASHIONABLE! From workday to weekend to that special event where you will SHINE, I will make you feel comfortable and polished so you can stop worrying about “what to wear” and start wondering “how to conquer the world”.
Some random facts about me:
1. I have a crazy obsession with color! I want everyone to wear more color because I believe it lifts up or mood and transforms our energy.
2. I grew up in India, and traditional textiles, weaves and embroidery are my love language. My eventual goal is to have a collection of traditional textiles.
3. I am completely obsessed with all things Bollywood-movies, music, artists and style!
4. I love bold everything! Bold accessories especially are my thing! They can completely transform a simple jeans and tee!
5. I love lipstick and lip gloss and lip stain and you name it! All lip products. I’ll have at least 2 in my purse on any given day.
6. I decided to go into the world of fashion, because I loved a soap called “The Bold and the Beautiful” in the early 90’s.
7. Fashion is not always fun & games like we see on TV. I know this from my years of training for a degree in Fashion Design, a second one in Fashion Merchandising and nearly a decade of working in house for America’s leading department store.
8. For every client, I have a muse and I go bonkers researching that Muse, then I curate accordingly.
9. I started a personal styling business because the number one question everyone asked was “What should I wear to…(job interview, awards ceremony, headshot)?” and they ALWAYS felt like a MILLION BUCKS after!
10. When you look good, you feel good! When you feel good, you can do amazing things. When you do amazing things, you can change the world!
